Positive survey from the US educational markets

According to a survey from the National Retail Federation (NRF; conducted by BIGresearch) back-to-school and back-to-college sales this season are to set a record $47.8 bn. The college markt is poised for the highest growth: +33.8% to $34.4 bn.

Good news for the main suppliers in the college market, Thomson Corp and John Wiley, and for school publishers (Reed Elsevier's Harcourt) as well. Pearson and McGraw-Hill are in both markets.
